Teddy bear’s picnic

Charles Wicksteed class have filled their marble jar for good choices and showing the values. The children chose to have a teddy bear’s picnic. Fairy cakes and Jammie dodgers went down well!

East Carlton park.

Today Steve Redgrave class visited East Carlton park in Corby. We got to travel on our new school minibus which was really exciting. When we arrived at the park we got to play on the equipment. We showed this months value of koinonia by helping each other to control the equipment. We really showed the value of friendship by helping our friends to get on and off the equipment. Then we went off to explore the autumn season in the woods.  We found lots of leaves on the floor and enjoyed running through them and kicking them. Then we enjoyed a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows to warm up before jumping back on the bus to go back to school.

Art day

Today we have been joined by children from years five and six to explore the work of Iris Scott. She is an amazing finger painter who has inspired us to create our own works of art.
